I got sick over this past weekend, so I didn't go to work on Sunday or Monday. When I called Miri, my volunteer contact person, to tell her I wouldn't be coming in, she was so nice. She wanted to make sure I had everything I needed and told me to just recover from the cold before I go to India. I felt bad missing work. Even though I don't do a whole bunch, I still enjoy myself. When I called Miri tonight to tell her I would be coming in tomorrow morning before I leave she said she was excited to see me.
As I spend more time at work, I like the staff more and more. I really don't have to go in to work tomorrow but I want to say goodbye to my co-workers before I leave for a week.
It's really too bad that all three volunteers at the Children's Art Center are on Olami (Amanda and Alyssa are on Olami 1) so there wont be any volunteers there this week.
I will see everyone the class after next.
