working away.....
Last week, I only had work for two days. On Sunday I relaxed since we had the day off for Purim, and Thursday I ran the 10k for the Jerusalem Half Marathon. Work at school on Monday was fun, my first two classes were boring because I sat on the side while the art teacher had no work for me to do. Fortunately, I now bring my sketch book to work everyday and can work on drawings. The second half of the day I went with a 3rd grade class to the agricultural farm. All the girls remembered me from the previous farm trip and fought over each other to tell me about Purim and sit next to me. There is one girl that I talk to a lot and she understands that I do not speak Hebrew so well, so when I do not understand she elaborates and tries to figure out another way to explain. She is only in third grade and takes great pride in teaching me new words in Hebrew, I was last tested on my fruits and vegetables. On Wednesday, I mostly helped fifth graders play computer games to learn English. The time goes by quickly at work and I enjoy being able to work on my drawing skills. However, the school system work place is still different for me and too slow of a pace, but I guess I don't always have to be on my toes. Today I sat and on a presentation from fourth graders to first graders about the Olympics. My Hebrew is improving , I am excited about that and what this new week will bring
