Back To Volunteering

Even after a very long break from volunteering - first India, then the week of different volunteer jobs, and then chofesh - I still felt right at home at work today. At first when I got to work, it was nice to be back and I had definitely missed it, but after a while things got repetitive as usual. I thought that a good three week break would make work less monotonous, but after one hour at work today I was already bored of doing the same thing twice a day every single day.

I should be interacting with the kids more and more because hypothetically I am getting better and better at Hebrew. I have mastered the few sentences necessary to communicate with the kids, but I don't make small talk with them. I still feel like my Hebrew isn't good enough. The language barrier really makes me feel like an outsider.
